The CWCA Easter Egg Hunt and planting pansies event on April 12th, 2025, was a great success! Over 100 children with their families participated. The DJ announced the rules, played awesome music, and counted down to the hunt at precisely 10:30am. The weather was gorgeous! Children lined up by age group to hunt 2000 Easter eggs. The Easter Bunny took pictures with the children and danced to the music. Bunny bucks (50) found inside Easter eggs allowed some children to get a special prize. Dairy Queen Free Sunday coupons (75) were found inside eggs. After the hunt, families walked to the Dutch Creek Community Garden to plant pansies (100) and make wildflower seed bombs. We came together as a community to make special memories for our children and families. Thank you!
Special appreciation: Jai Partridge (Easter Bunny), Henry Niekerk (DJ), Dairy Queen (7576 S Pierce St.) for 75 Free Sunday coupons, Creek Side Gardens (Holly Bullotta & Will Knowles) for 100 pansies donation, Jovial Concepts (Paige Burns) for seed bombs, Jerry & family for flower pots (25) donation, Community members (10+) who stuffed the eggs and set up the event (Brandi & Tyler Burgei, Amber & Justin Robbins, Takako Gordon, Jai & Patrick Partridge, Jason, Ken Sweet, Bill Waite, and many children), Jessica Molesworth for guidance, Gary & Natasha McCombs for delivering the supplies.
