1st Place: Halloween 2025 : The Superhero Showdown: 6836 W. Portland Place
A full-on bone-afide blockbuster! Skeleton superheroes leaping, swinging, and flying across the yard made this house a true Marvel-ous masterpiece. Trick-or-treaters couldn’t stop staring!
2nd Place: Halloween 2025 : The Pumpkin King & Haunted Homestead: 7432 S. Vance Street
A towering pumpkin creature, giant spiders, creepy scarecrows—this yard had all the eerie charm of a haunted fall festival. Spooky, clever, and impossible to miss!
Trunk or Treat 2025
The CWCA and Dutch Creek PTSA partnered together to host the Trunk or Treat for our community on Friday, October 24, 2025. The CWCA hosted a pumpkin patch of 120 pumpkins at the CW Pool Shelter where children gleefully played a ring toss game to earn a pumpkin to decorate with markers and stickers. The CWCA had two decorated trunks from members in our community at the pool parking lot for children to pick candy and toys in a safe place. The bridge connecting the CWCA pool parking lot to the Dutch Creek PTSA school parking lot was also decorated with spooky skeletons and lights. This was the first year since 2021 that the Trunk or Treat was expanded to the pool parking lot. We hope next year more CWCA members join in decorating trunks for children to trick or treat. Thank you to everyone who participated and helped make this event a success!

100 Pansies were donated by Creek Side Gardens to plant in the Dutch Creek Community Garden. Jovial Concepts also taught children how to make seed balls.
