ABOUT

Columbine West is a Civic Association. We are a 100% volunteer organization made up of residents in our family oriented community, nestled near the foothills of southern Jefferson County and Chatfield Reservoir.

We have been in existence for over 45 years. Our original 11 covenants have been unchanged during that time. We have close to 1500 homes in Columbine West CWCA, as a 501(c)3 organization has a charter developed to build community, promote neighborhood beautification and harmony and social activities.

The four officers, President, Vice President , Treasurer and Secretary are elected for one year terms. There are six elected Board members, Board Members serve two year terms that are staggered. Each Board member has an area of responsibility such as: liason to state and county agencies, community businesses, Foothills Park and Recreation District CWCA POSITIONS—in addition to the Board of Director there are other major volunteer positions. These positions are not elected and have no time limitation.: Manage the distribution of the CWCA newsletter, CO-HOPE representative, Editor of the CWCA newsletter and Website Coordinator.

CWCA meetings are held at 7:00 pm on the second Tuesday of every month. October through May meetings
are held through Zoom. June through September meetings are held at the park pavilion by Columbine West pool. Community members are encouraged to attend to hear and get involved in what is going on in
their neighborhood.
